Currently it is challenging to get good up to the minute cryptocurrency tips, ask questions, get answers, participate in discussions, see the price charts, and have the chance to share tips with an audience all live. Most of us spend a lot of time on steemit.com reading articles or watching videos on YouTube or going through Google or hanging out in text chat channels to try to keep up.

At best some live streams on YouTube, slack channels, discord rooms, and other areas online have good text chat but often have no way to talk and often are empty for many hours a day or filled with mostly beginners. A few traders and investors with vast knowledge hang out in often obscure places reaching maybe a smaller number of friends with the best tips because there is no easy way to immediately reach an audience with valuable information for most of us.

The Solution!

What if we had one place we could watch the charts, text chat with others watching with us, listen to tips from those of us with the most experience, and even step on stage to share what we know or do not know with everyone listening live? Our new 24/7 live show on my YouTube channel and DLive will be the place to hang out and stay up to the minute with the cryptocurrency community.

To prepare, this week I tested a 24/7 live cryptocurrency price chart stream with no audio on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/jerrybanfield/live and on @dlive. 10 to 100 people watched 24/7 on YouTube with more than 5,000 unique viewers within 48 hours. Meanwhile, a viewer was able to click the "END" button on my DLive stream which ended the stream for everyone! As soon as this is fixed, I will get the show on @dlive again.

Within the next few days I will be launching the mostly the same visuals as seen at

combined with the audio from both my electronic dance music and a discord voice chat channel that will automatically mute the music while anyone is talking. Given the data from the first 48 or so test of the live stream with no audio, I think we can expect to make the best cryptocurrency show anywhere before the end of the year!

How do we help those that have the best knowledge, the up to the minute tips, and the highest levels of excitement get a chance to speak on the discord voice chat while limiting the ability for anyone to just join and takeover the conversation? What can we do to keep the show real without allowing advertisers to disrupt the show or artificially promote the newest ICO or blockchain?

In six years of collaborating with thousands of people online, I have found that money tends to be an effective gatekeeper which prevents the majority of problems while allowing those that are more passionate to easily get through. We will be using the same approach for the live cryptocurrency chat in requiring anyone that wants access to speak to become a partner with us at https://jerrybanfield.com/partners/ because this will

1. Keep out that majority that might talk for free but will be unwilling to pay anything.
2. Provide some sense of accountability for those that have signed up and paid.
3. Prevent the need to accept any sponsors to raise money for the show including making the show ad free on YouTube and declining any outside promotional offers such as ICOs wanting a spot in the visuals.

The cost to get access to the voice chat is $49 a month on Patreon or on my university or a one time lifetime payment of $999 on my website or a delegation of 10,000 Steem to me to use for budget proposals as explained here with 50 Steem subtracted from the delegator earnings monthly.

What I like about this system is that it sets a fair standard instead of judging based on other factors which often have little fairness such as how many followers someone has online, how much BTC in a wallet, years of trading experience, etc. Anyone that puts in the money gets to have a voice and then no one has to sit through ads during the show or see pitches from any outside sources.

While I see a lot of possible problems with giving this a try, I see one massive value to the cryptocurrency community in helping us educate, connect, and collaborate more effectively in real time. Therefore, we will soon be launching this together as I get the live stream online again with this new setup and our speakers continue signing up as partners and getting access to the voice channel.
