That is an invasion of privacy. Power companies are legally not allowed to spy on people. How would the power companies know what the computers were doing? Those computers, that may or may not be like mining Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, are computers. You need to get into the computer to see what the computers are doing. Your computer can do what you tell your computer to do. It is illegal to steal computers to see what is on the computers. It is a crime to look at the computers. The power companies are breaking the law.
