Is Verge still a good buying opportunity?

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

These days with prices rising, and people piling into Coinbase I am looking for opportunities within the privacy sector, and have been keeping a close watch on Verge. I post on Facebook about my thoughts within the sector most of the time, but I'm trying to move out of there, and get people to move to Steemit.

Crypto Watch: Verge (XVG) Price Climbs 800% In A Week. What Is XVG And Why Is It Growing So Fast?

Now I must fully disclose that I'm invested in Verge, and other crypto's that have privacy protocols. Now I going to speculate based on what concerns I have, and what might be adding to the extra price surge. I have been in this space long enough to know the weaknesses of Bitcoin, and other crypto-currencies in regards to privacy, and I'm bullish on Monero, and others that keep Governments, Hackers, and other bad peoples out of our business. Verge is another option, and one I have interested in. I think it is people like me who have been diversifying their portfolios into these kind of utility based coins.

Being in the top 20 Crypto's is a major achievement, and this alone may help boost the price. As the prices rises speculation will also come in, and push the price up even higher. I never know where these pumps will end up, and with new money chasing new coins anything is possible.

I am still adding to my position until it reaches what I consider a reasonable number. I measure in purchasing power, and not value in Bitcoin. Maybe that is because I'm older but that is how I think, and yes sometimes I do notice the price via bitcoin, but that is not the most common.

Please let me know your opinions on Verge both good and bad, and thank you ahead of time.

Take care everyone, and Merry Christmas!

I heard it the other day and I think highly of it.
Still a good buy.

It seems like good technology to me, and this kind of security/privacy tech may be needed one day.

I'm a big fan of Crypto-Privacy

I added Verge to my portfolio a few days ago. I'd say it's still a good investment. I'm prepared to hold for a while and the team has been making progress. I want to see what happens after Wraith protocol is released.

I think so too, and it still running a a good price to add more. $1 USD could be very doable with thus good volume, and they are unique in some ways, and privacy is a major concern as we move forward.

sold at .009 SMH. i lost confidence when BTC made its runup

I'm still holding and want to increase the position.

Hi, @johngentry, I always do the same for you. Invest in coins that governments and other agency and bankster will not have control on. I am high on Verge and I am sure with the announcement like Mc Afee it will continue to be invest in. The things many peoples don't really understand about privacy coin is how to use them for what it is. But to answer your question yes it is still investable just wait for a little drop. And go for long term privacy coins will have a great future when those official thief will put their hands on the cryptos. :)

It is rocking up but I can not buy any because my funds are stuck. This is a cruel joke on me. I am curious how many people really sign up on coinbase and actually invest in crypto. People keep saying a lot but is it really a lot?
