Over five months ago, I wrote a post going over what cryptocurrencies and tokens I had in my portfolio, and what ICOs I had invested in. I thought it was about time I did an update, and see how things are now. As you can see from the above chart, the past three months or so have been harsh. It's only really been in the past three weeks that things have begun to pick up and return to normal. To call the recent price drops a correction would be inaccurate, as it's likely a signal that things are about to change.

This pie chart shows what my portfolio looked like towards the back end of last year, mostly being made up of BTC, ETN and LTC. Notice how Steem doesn't even appear on this chart, it only made up a tiny portion of the "other" slice.
I also mentioned three ICOs that I was excited about and had invested small amounts in. I was surprised reading the old post, as one of the ICOs listed had just completely left my mind. I'd excitingly checked the website stored in my favourites and... nothing. The site had disappeared, and apparently so had the "devs". It looks like I'd been got, and I never even realised it! I don't remember exactly how much I put into it, but it was around 0.08ETH which I won't cry about. Live and learn!

This pie chart shows my portfolio as it currently stands, and it's looking pretty different. The biggest holding by far is Steem, with a whopping 43% of my entire portfolio. After that we've got Electroneum coming up second, but far smaller in size, and followed by Bitcoin which is looking fairly tiny compared to five months ago. I currently hold roughly half as much Bitcoin as I did then, as I sold half of it off somewhere around the peak at the beginning of this year.
Let's break down what we've got here, because that chart is tiny and I can barely make everything out myself.
Steem (STEEM)
Electroneum (ETN)
Bitcoin (BTC)
Bytecoin (BCN)
Monero (XMR)
Ripple (XRP)
Ethereum (ETH)
Doge (DOGE)
Bankex (BKX)
Mona (MONA)
Bytecoin and Monero make up a large chunk between them, and these are two I've only mined using the GPU in my gaming laptop (might as well get some use out of it). With some luck, I'm hoping these two will largely pay for this laptops replacement.
Bankex is an ICO I backed at the end of last year, and to be perfectly honest I've been ignoring it. I think it was another bad investment made late at night after a few too many beers. I've been absent from trading while everything's taken a tumble, but I'm warming up again now so I'll probably get rid of those sooner rather than later.
Litecoin is now pretty much completely absent from my portfolio, I sold most of it off a couple of months ago before the price dived below £100. I may buy one whole coin just to keep an eye on it, but I don't think there's much time left for the first and second generation currencies. Time for the new kids to shine (here's looking at you, Electroneum).
There's quite a few others hidden in the "other" slice, but there is just too many of them to go through really. Most will probably go in the next purge anyway, for no reason other than my portfolio is beginning to get a bit crowded.
It was quite nice to be able to compare my current holdings to what I had several months ago and who knows, maybe I'll do another one in a few months time. Steem has become my number one crypto in such a short amount of time, and hopefully with continue to play an ever larger part.

I would add Verge to your portfolio. Not sure if you heard of it. It recently partnered with mindgeek the biggest porn collaboration on the net. Although shortly after the price of XVG dropped probably because of short sighted fools thinking they didnt want to be associated with porn. But believe me collaborating with porn was genius, being able to buy porn online 100% annonymously is going to take off. Theres also a debit card coming out for it soon too.
I expect the price to go well up in the long term.

I've seen Verge mentioned a few times and added it to my list with TRON and EOS but... then forgot about it. I'm with you, collaborating with porn really is a genius move. I'm surprised someone hadn't done it sooner to be honest! There's been a fair amount of "anti-porn" legislation introduced to the UK recently, with more to come I think, so something like this has a strong chance of going mainstream.
I'll start looking into Verge today, I don't wanna drag my feet on something like this. I'm all about the long-term possibilities, the short-term speculative people are dragging cryptos down in my opinion.
There's just so many projects these days it's so hard to stay caught up on it all, so thank you so much for bringing this one to my attention bud! I hope your deployment is going well

Just waiting for a BTC deposit to clear and I'll grab some. Hopefully shouldn't take too long, and looking at the charts on coinmarketcap this one looks like it has quite a bit of potential

Someone joked somewhere, "who actually pays for porn?" (lol) and well it is a little true? (word is money is made by clickjacking and other ways) But in any case I do think this was a good move on the porn industrie's part. A long long time ago I worked in the dot com boom and when things started going badly the only people that paid their advertising bills were the porn and gambling companies. Seriously... we had some big name accounts of reputable product companies (computer hardware, software, airlines, auto companies, etc.) and they all delayed paying their ad campaign accounts. Except for the porn and gambling guys. Say what you will about them they are good for their debts. Kind of like Lannisters haha![a-lannister-always-pays-his-debts.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/640x0/https://gateway.ipfs.io/ipfs/QmaL4CH919CRb8phtDxWnYfHjTbfEboSPP8tcfs5MXiWpz)

Even if nobody pays for their porn with XVG ilI think the exposure alone XVG will get just for being on the likes of pornhub and brazzers will mean that verge will become a crypto everone knows about and invest in.

I like your portfolio! I think you are more bullish on ETN than I am although I'm not purposefully ignoring it I just haven't acquired any more in a long time. I should though because it's cheap and easy to buy. I will next pay round :)
I have a few more tokens mostly from air drops and I've purchased a few, Dorado (the drone delivery service) is one I like a lot, and BitCar. There's another called Request that I think is ok. I've seen a lot of ICO scams so I just can't bring myself to buy tokens usually unless it's easy for me... I guess I'm doing it illegally being from the U.S. but oh well? I tell myself maybe it's because I buy so little < $20 so it doesn't flag the system anywhere, maybe that's allowed? I just don't know haha
I started mining Bitcoin Private BTCP. Have you heard of that? It's Bitcoin mixed with Zcash and I'm able to do it with GPU as it's equihash algo.
