Thanks for the summary. If their only goal is to have fast transactions then it will be hard for them to grow.

Hi Johnny, thank you for your comment.
Btw I love your Telegram Group(https://t.me/joinchat/AAAAAEQFNgIB9TiaZjOqog), I always read everything posted there with my coffee in the morning :)
I don't see fast transactions as a goal for Nimiq at all. Many cryptos are faster, but they don't sync faster, using a browser on a mobile or a laptop.
I see the value in making their currency accessible to all with minimum or no effort.
Because let's be fair, cryptocurrencies nowadays are kind of difficult to use. A normal person isn't going to register his personal info with a provider like Coinbase, wait a few days, send his FIAT to them, buy bitcoin, transfer it to another exchange, buy the coin he wants, download wallet, wait hours for it to sync, transfer the coins from an exchange to the wallet and than finally he'll be able to use it.
Nobody is going to do that.
The best way for a blockchain based product to thrive is if your normal user doesn't even realise it's blockchain running in the backgrounds, like steem for example.
Efficient and hassle free transaction within a minute using any internet enabled device that can run a browser? Maybe have a miner tab open in the background making some free currency? That's kind of cool.
