Its 2018 and the ICO trend is not nearly as big as it was the previous year,
Most of the ICO projects hitting exchange fall below the ICO price nowadays and that is not exactly the reason why we invest in ICOs right?
I am not a financial advisor, this is not a financial advice.
Well, if you are in for the long run and the project is really good then you have nothing to worry as almost every good ICO project goes 10x after a few months hitting big exchanges, partnerships and regular progress!
But if you want to make some good profits when there is a price bump right after it hits an exchange and buy back when the price falls, getting in at the ICO stage may not be the way to go.
After hitting an exchange the price barely touches the ICO mark and falls back down 20% to 30% or more,
To make sure this does not happen you need to get in at the every first stage of the Pre-ICO or the private sale,
Mathematically you cannot go at a loss by doing this and are almost guaranteed a profit,
the drawback though is that you need to wait a lot longer.
Why does the price drop below ICO price after hitting exchanges?
People getting in at the Pre-ICO stage with the 40% 50% discounts sell their tokens at or slightly below the ICO price and the price just keeps on dropping as more and more investors try to get rid of the tokens setting the sell order little cheaper than the rest.
Thus, if the Pre-ICO has huge bonuses and discounts like 50%, 60%, 70% than better get at that time or maybe dont get in at all, discounts like that are mostly set to lure people in to invest in something not worth it, its your call!
So what should I do?
If you truly believe in the project just go for it at any stage,
or else buy at the exchanges when the price falls down to the ICO price or less!
Hope you guys like it, would really appreciate the up vote!
