Is Bitcoin Going to Fall from its Throne?

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

Bitcoin dominance has been slowly falling since the beginning of December 2017. It has now fallen to a new all-time low of about 32%!

As we continue to see the rise of the alt-coins, Bitcoin dominance will continue to fall, and the gold will start to lose its shine.

If you have not made the switch away from Bitcoin and its hard fork subsidiaries, you may want to start making those moves.

Phys.org just posted a great little article that helps to outline that the biggest gains will be in other coins and tokens. Go ahead and give it a read.

Short Answer:No

But the disparity will get smaller

Interesting take. Any reason why you don't think BTC will fall from the #1 market capitalization?

its practically useless. You cant do anything with it. Its the OG so itll remain the most iconic coin but other than that alt coins actually have functionality

Great thought, but I think we as a community are smart enough to move to more viable technologies. This is why you've seen some altcoins get closer and closer to Bitcoin's dominance level.
