50 Cent is now a Bitcoin millionaire

50 Cent's decision to accept Bitcoin for their album "Animal Ambition" 2014 has resulted in a windfall of several million dollars.

On Tuesday, celebrity gossip site TMZ reported that 50 Cent, the New York rapper whose real name is Curtis Jackson, had accumulated around 700 BTC after accepting the cryptocurrency as a payment method for the album.

At that time, the rapper accepted payments through the BitPay processor. By then, that amount was worth approximately $ 400,000, and according to the publication's estimate, its holdings now cost close to $ 7 million.

The artist has confirmed TMZ's article, posting a text on Instagram that says: "It's not bad for a South Side kid, I'm so proud of myself." In a comment on the social networking site, he claimed that he had forgotten about the Bitcoin cache in the years after the Animal Ambition move.

Jackson has a history of business and personal success, the most famous of the early investors in Glaceau, which Coca-Cola later acquired for a millionaire sum. 50 has a broad portfolio that includes a clothing line, dietary supplements, real estate, among other things.
