In this video, I talk with Paul Puey of Edge, formerly Airbitz about the new Edge crypto wallet! First let us make it clear we are not being paid to do this video, it's just an endorsement worthy innovation! Paul Puey who worked to make Airbitz an incredibly easy to use Bitcoin phone wallet is changing the game with Edge Secure which caries multiple cryptocurrencies (and counting) in the same kind of easy to use phone wallet. The difference is, it's far more secure and incredibly innovative.
Paul explains how Edge works and the security of the wallet as well as potential future cryptos to be implemented.
Just a couple years ago, people had a hard time finding multi-currency wallets outside of very dangerous, vulnerable online exchanges. Many just ended up installing the ENTIRE blockchain for certain currencies and tokens. Well, we've seen that change dramatically throughout 2017 into 2018. With wallets like Exodus and Jaxx accepting countless cryptocurrencies, the market is adapting, competing and growing incredibly fast. Now, Edge is attempting to make the confusion of Jaxx for those new to cryptos and the more vulnerable security of Exodus a thing of the past.
While we love Exodus here at WAM, Edge is far more convenient on the road and according to Paul, has much better security than other wallets we see on the market.
One of the most important parts of bringing cryptocurrencies to mass adoption (your grandmother and confused friend who "doesn't have time to understand cryptocurrencies") is making them easy to use. Simplicity is unbelievably important. We all know people who dodge cryptos like Bitcoin because they look at some of the wallets out there and it's intimidating. By Paul innovating this market to be more simple AND more secure is something we should all be supportive of. Let the free market fluorish and adapt to the new monetary revolution. It's happening!
This! Steemit is the most simple crypto platform/wallet I can think if. I wouldn't mind using EDGE if they would add support for Steem/SBD.

If you want to succeed on Steemit, never go on other people's posts and ask them to upvote you. You're basically begging strangers for money.
