What is Bitcoin? How to invest in and secure it: Beginner's guide for friends, family with 0 experience

Good post. I was about to post a similair thread. Cryptos will probably go through a more extreme pattern that bitcoin went though. High ups and high downs before it becomes stable. I was researching a way to do better investment analysis on the current cryptos. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com Supposingly they researched every crypto coin in the scene based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model. They even score the coins stengths. On: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Bitcoin#analysis For the Bitcoin Investment and research analysis.

Thanks! coincheckup has some good analytics I haven't seen on other sites, but I'm very skeptical about their rating systems. Not sure how they're able to keep up to date information on hundreds of coins.. seems unreliable. I think if you're really getting involved with altcoins, you have to just learn first hand about the company from their website/whitepaper/social media/slack groups, and join chats/communities of people who actively research them. I use coinmarketcap.com to get introduced to coins, which just has basic information. Then check my opinion with my favorite youtubers, twitter, or discord/telegram/slack chats.
