See the detailed post I published on steemit yesterday about this new player that competes with Maidsafe, wants to take on the entire internet or at least the 80% that is current on bit torrent type servcies and is launching this year with a steemit competitor applicaiton and a secure VPN service for end users. People will be paid for contributing their storage and processing power if I've understood the business model. So if you like Sia, Storjx or Golem you should take a look at Skycoin since (like Maidsafe) it does all of these in one - and more as it has an application layer as well.
I'm new to steemit and experimenting with what titles and which categories to post in . Despite great feedback from those that saw the article not many have seen it so I'm trying it with this new title and by posting it in cryptocurrency - hope you don't mind. I won't do that with all my posts - I'm just trying to figure out how to use steemit effectively.
