Cryptocurrency for retirement plan, college fund, etc.

I was born in 1984 (generation X) and I believe I'm lucky to be alive during this timeline. Modern technology for better or worse is changing the world drastically, and I find myself saying "what a time to be alive" pretty often.

By the time my kids are grown up and I'm retired I'm sure the financial system will be drastically different, and we are seeing the start of this now with the adoption of cryptocurrency. Even with a 401k and an roth IRA I don't feel like your money is really working for you as much as you work for your money. When I'm twice my age I don't want to be relying on social security to live, which may not even exist by then. That's why I started investing and trading crypto for the future.

I believe we are in a transitional period of a financial crisis where the value of the US dollar has dropped 95% in the past 100 years, opening the doors for something like crypto to be accepted mainstream. I think we should all help each other along the way to invest properly in ICOs and startups with great tech behind them, and that's why I joined steemit.
