Cryptocurrency, human society is chaning

We are about to change. Maybe, it's better to say we are at the center of change. Some people doubt that these changes are illusions. Some other people agree that human society is about to change, but it's not the good ones. But, you, people in Steemit, who familiar with the cryptocurrency are surely accepting that we are in a moment of change. And also, you know change is not the bad one.

Cryptocurrency, isn't it like scam, speculation or gambling?

This is what the most people usually reacts. People can't answer this even though they know about cryptocurrency quite well. Even in lecture about cryptogray, spoken by who value cryptography as a revolution, it is only about how amazing the underlying technology is, and how easy it will be if these cryptocurrency settle. Transparency, stability and convenice created from block chain technology are also topics. So, in the end, is it right to say the only worth of the cryptocurrency is the underlying technology?

From now, let's talk about stock trading. Nobody gurantees the valur of the stock. Nobody guarantees the value of the stock. The company always has the risk of bankruptcy and the results may change depending on the operation of the company. Some people even treat stock trading as gambling and speculation.
And there is the dollar. Some people buy foreign currency because of the exchange rate gain. Can you say the dallor is the object of gambling and speculation?
In fact, nobody really gurantees value of the dollar either. The value of the currency are all changing and nobody knows when something sudden chage will happen.
So, there is the only difference that governments will try to reduce the fluctation as much as possible for the public interest. But no endeavor can guarantee genuine value.

Currency of past

The first transaction was a barter. At first, essential goods for suvival was the first offers. After, people wanted luxury goods either. Perhaps a pretty shell would have been able to become one of the godds that can be exhanged with the stone ax though this process. It goes and goes, it became too hard to carry thing for barter. Money is born from this background.
The earliest currency is made of precious metals, so the money itself has value. We have familiar with gold coins and silver coins. Made of metal, it still has some weight, but it belongs to a very light axis compared to the weight of the commodity that can be bought by these, so it could become the dominant currency. But how people, who exchanging leather with the stone axe, will react when you say that gold coins are worth more(Let's now talk about how surprise gold coins are to them.) Gold coins could work as a currency, because gold was precious.

Following the function of these gold coins, banknotes were born based on gold standard system and silver standard system. A piece of paper that can be exchanged for gold or silver by the unit of money recorded in the currency. At this point, when you bring the ancient Roman who used gold coins say this paper has the same value as your gold coins, how would the Roman react if you offer to exchange your notes with the gold coins of the Roman?

Then, the gold standard system and the silver standard system have been abolished. Of course, even before that, there was only a national guarantee to exchange for gold and silver, therefore some functions worked based on credit, but from this moment, the only thing left is the ideological fact that the papre is a guaranteed by the country. But we still value our dollars.
In the end, money is an extension of bartering. The value of each good varies with the times, and what a commodity plays a leading role in the currency of bartering also changes with the times.

Change

I do not know how much the cryptocurrency will grow, but it is clear that the use of virtual money will be increased.
It is also evident that this change is not just about money.
