Very well articulated and if there's one thing that we should investigate, it should be about why people are flocking to bitcoin and others as an alternative currency. Are they flocking to safety? Are they accumulating it for cross border transactions circumnavigating the "eye of sauron". I think that there's a lot to unravel until the clear picture emerges maybe 10 years from today. Until then we should be tighten our belts and be ready for a roller coaster.

There is a big "If" in the economic explanation of it. The existence of bitcoin and the value of it in itself. But there's a gut feel that tells me that I should believe in it and perhaps ride the wave. And that's exactly what I am doing.
