I think most of you are familiar with the Pokemon Go game, where you have to walk around and collect Pokemons. LoMoStar is the first built-in cryptocurrency LBS entertainment application that is based on the same idea. Using LoMoStar users can place and collect Red Envelopes which contain some amount of cryptocurrency. The application currently supports LoMoCoin (LMC), Bitcoin and Ether with an intention to add more coins in the future.
LoMoStar can act as an advertising tool which can be used by a wide range of businesses. Based on the geographical location, a shop can place red envelopes that contain some cryptocurrency to attract users who will visit the shop to collect their reward. The application also allows to place worldwide envelopes which can be seen by every user regardless of his physical location. Such an advertising can be used by famous brands. I think LoMoStar will play a good role in advertising crowdsales (ICOs) in the future.
When a user collects an envelope he/she will automatically start following the user that has placed it. They can then contact each other as the application includes a chat with a possibility to create groups and add stories. Moreover, one can send some LMC tokens via a Red envelope directly to a specific person on the chat.
More than a game ...
LoMoStar comes as an application support for LoMoCOIN (LMC).
Users can buy, store, sent, and receive LoMoCoin inside the application. So the main currency that is supported by the application is LoMoCoin. Still users can convert LoMoCoin to Bitcoin or Ether and vice versa.
The current price of LMC is $0.0478 with a marketcap $10,519,248, volume $269,028, circulating supply 220,048,162 LMC, and total supply 305,048,162 LMC. I think the price will increase in the future after LoMoStar becomes more popular.
Currently, LoMoStar still in beta version with more users joining every day. The number of users is expected to increase after the last update yesterday, where the requirement of using an invitation code to register has been released.
Here is the official website of LoMoStar http://www.lomostar.com/index.html
You can find more on bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1609194
Here you find a YouTube video that explains the application
As LoMoStar still in beta version when you install it now you will find few red envelopes around you. I have found 5 local envelopes, and some worldwide ones. In total I collected 4.5587 LMC and 0.00000001 BTC. As I understand the official release will be before 2018. After more envelopes are expected to appear on the map.
At the end, I think it is worth trying as one can collect some coins in an entertainment way and no one knows may be the price of LMC will jump one day. So take the chance and be from the first users that register for the application.
I will be thankful if you use the following invitation code when register: 15FUbQ
After registering you can put your code in a comment so others can use it. Note that users can get 10% bonus from the red envelopes that are collected by their referrals.
