ALT Season is here? Here's my bags and why! STEEM, IOTA, EOS, XAURUM, LBRY...

EDIT: Ignore this post. BTC seems to be turning bullish again.
I'm still ALT shopping but won't go all in.

DISCLAIMER: This is not Investment advice!

Bye Bitcoin..... for now!

I've decided to ditch most of my BTC (Bitcoin) for now as the BCH (Bitcoin Cash) rivalry is eating away and diluting some of its demand.
I remain bullish on Bitcoin in the long term but I'll only re-buy once there is a definitive winner between BTC and BCH.
BTC supremacy was for most a foregone conclusion but it is now safe to say BCH won't go away without a battle.
Let them fight then pickup the wounded winner, at a huge discount hopefully :)

STEEM

Main reason that pushed me to invest in Steem was DTube, yet Dtube is also what worries me the most about the investment. If solutions are found to the blatant copyright infringements on Dtube I'll continue increasing my position in Steem, if not I'll be reducing it.
Personally I couldn't care less about copyright, but I know the US government does.
We've seen in the past how ruthless the FBI is with sites violating copyright, I have serious doubts Dtube could escape its wrath especially with Sessions and Trump in the White House who have declared war on Intellectual property violations

IOTA

I bought some soon after the BTC fork. I'll be honest: I don't understand how this coin works. But with the blockchain scaling debacle dominating headlines I thought it would be a good idea to invest in an alternative solution. And innovative novel technologies will always be appreciated by the market, at least in the short term. So far it has proven a good move. Though it can't keep flying forever and I might start taking some profit soon.

EOS

We know someone who can put an end to the BlockChain scaling issue and that is @Dan. Conceptually I'm actually more leaning towards Casper (ETH) than Dpos (EOS) but on the other hand I'm more confident that DPoS will actually work and scale as promised. ETH price is 300 $ , EOS is 1$....that ultimately tipped my BTC towards EOS , more upside potential! EOS is on a downward trend so I will be setting my buys down till 0.50$

XAURUM

"The first cryptocurrency backed by an ever increasing amount of gold". I 've always ignored this coin and believed it to be a scam. It required trust in a company to store the gold and I couldn't see any reason to trust the unknown strangers that had opened the Bitcointalk announcement. However over time this company has grown, expanded and proven trustful enough for me to invest a small sum in it. They passed a compliance review on Bittrex and all who have melted their Xaurums got their gold delivered at home. They are setting up legal entities and offices in various countries and now their coins are even backed by Real Estate profits (from Xaurum Gamma). I saw it oversold on Bittrex and bought some.

LBRY

Same reason for which I invested in Steem/Dtube. LBRY requires credit card verification to earn any rewards there, so copyright infringement is discouraged that way. Overall I prefer the Steem model/ecosystem.

These are my main bags. Then I have small sums in other coins but just for the occasional day trading or flip overs.

What's in your bags and why?

Let me know if I'm missing out on something.

Nice blog. Really appreciate you bring this to our attention. The high risk the cryoto space brings with it one thing nobody seemingly cares about. An interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com This site did all the research for you. It's truly amazing. Nice blog. Same mindset here. Not sure if I believe in the current crypto investment climate but I do believe in the blockchain. I was researching a way to find more info about the current cryptocoins on the market. An interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com This site gives you a complete in depth investment analysis on every crypto in the market.
