I have become interested in the crypto currencies world in December 2017, when I guess everyone started to hear about the famous increases of bit coin. Since then a lot has happened and bitcoin has been out of reach for most of us. So I have been looking for a coin where I could be with from the start and which is more robust and with a vision rather then a short term master node scheme or alike: in May I have become aware of Atheios.
Atheios is a Ethereum fork with the intention to focus on the gaming market. The developer behind it is having gaming background and has early identified the need for a blockchain focused on gaming. In all honesty, it is not the only coin, but it is a great possibility to learn and the coin is community friendly:
- fully POW
- no ICO
- no pre-mine, but a developer fund for advertising etc.
So in a way this coin remembers me a lot on Ravencoin, really a great coin to follow, engage and grow with. The "lack" with Atheios is , that it doesn't have as respected advocates. However that doesn't make it less interesting.
After joining the discord channel https://discord.gg/RAjMjAP I started to get in contact with the community there and realised that it is one part to fork technically a coin and run it - which is by the way a great thing to achieve, but there is a continuous need to talk, to achieve things, in order to get into people's mind.
