I don't think there is a problem with Ripple centralized. If anything, I think it is a more palatable digital coin that more traditional investors might be able to wrap their heads around. It help eliminates the fear of the unknown.

But the unknown is exactly what makes it healthy. Ripple is supply-controlled by its creators. It's far from a proper currency that serves the people that use it; it only serves its creators. You can trade it and make money on it, for sure. But is that the world we want to live in? Doing things that make money without thinking about the consequences? The technologies behind crypto are antithetical to a token like XRP. It's not even a true cryptocurrency!

That's right, it's correct

People who are into cryptos mainly want to kill the current financial system and replace it with the utopia of no banks. And ripple is centralized and wants to evolve the current financial system
