Much easier to transfer BTC

Gold has at least 5000 years of support behind it.

Bitcoin has about 10 years and it has a few technical issues (transaction time, fees cost and price stability).

I think crypto is great and I am a hodler but it needs more time before we can make a competent decision on this one :)

From one point of view, Bitcoin is a liberal way of holding value, and Gold is conservative. A long time ago Gold was also meeting problems with trust in value because there were people that were faking gold and destabilize the value of it. In conclusion, Bitcoin is on a highway to reach trust of value between people, and one day bitcoin is going to be a conservative way of holding value, and something else liberal.

I completely agree with you! It has a lot of potential, but crypto has still a long way to go!

I will choose bitcoin base on rapid rise in value and there is high probability of appreciate more in value, I can invest all my assets on bitcoin, because i am optimistic it going to appreciate more.

Me too :)

Good post and good comparison.. As mentioned above, gold has long been valued! For that bitkoin for 10 years has surpassed on popularity gold! And this is only the beginning of the road... So I wish everyone good luck and profit!!!

Hi, Louis

Thanks for sharing this video. Related to the topic today, DigixDao (DGD) coin is the latest cryptocurrency trending on the market. It's linked to an upcoming crypto launch that is touted to be backed by physical gold. Do you have any thought on this. Thanks

I think tokenizing gold is a pretty cool idea. Maybe in the future people will physically store half of their gold and hold tokenized versions of the remaining 50%. Great blend of security there

Thanks for your quick reply. Maybe you can spend sometime to make video to explain how this work? I think the DGX is hot recently, but it seems not quite easy to understand how it works.

Regards

Gold or crypto?

Very interesting video Louis!. I think that at this moment gold is more secure because it has the confidence of almost any citizen of the world but in a few years bitcoin could replace it.

play it safe go 50/50

Gold is just still on top " good old fashion" But bitcoin is "easier" to get, sell and you can buy small amount or sell small VS gold? not so easy

Its bitcoiin for me. But love your veiw. Keep up the good post

LL GOOD

Nice video. In my opinion i will choose bitcoin presently due to the rate at which it grows in value and awareness, more than 85% of the world is aware of bitcoin and its really promising.
The future is definitely bright for crypto currency

thanks for the video

There will always be demand for physical assets such as gold, silver and property and they will always have a place in the financial system. I do not think you can really compare them other than saying they both store value. BTC is certainly more adapted to the modern world and is easier to transact in and transfer value while gold is probably the ultimate physical asset.

Both have purpose but the current generations no longer associate physical gold as money and are much more likely to embrace cryptos instead due to this.

Hi. I liked your post, keep it up. I wish you good luck and have a good day, and of course you can also get a big jackpot :)

gold always will be valuable because it is an excellent conductor, a precious metal and that has great durability

i will go for bitcoin

Thanks for switching your videos to DTube. It would be nice if other crypto-tubers would do the same. Instead of just posting a Youtube video within a Steemit post. The main benefit of DTube for me is that is will continue to play on a phone while the screen is off or when you are using another app.

Only the Youtube paid app allows this on android. Obviously no one wants to further fund Youtube's monopoly and their anti free speech policies by buying a YT subscription.

I personally think Bitcoin/Blockchain is the next step in our modernization. Gold, paper money, credit card, Bitcoin.

Wow! It's pretty amazing to see the success you're experiencing on steemit! Congrats!

Although I tend to prefer Bitcoin for many reasons, crypto still has a lot to prove and improve in order for it to completely surpass precious metals IMO.

thanks for the video ... excellent !!

I think both are valuable, but I prefer the speculative aspects of Bitcoin and #gainss

Bitcoin all the way for me, never heard of people cruisin' in Lambos cuz of gold... :D

Since gold can also produce in an oven and btc dont. Therefore BTC is more valueble than gold.

Stick money in both for good measure!

....... more so Bitcoin ;)

The Bitcoin's value volatility makes it preferable. In as much as its value decreases, it also increases rapidly too and it does so in a stable manner.
