In this video, I'll be sharing the details of what would be my absolute dream ICO/cryptocurrency-based project. Watch the vid to find out what it is!

Ownership....would it be private or communal ? I understand that young people might emotionally gravitate to the latter but (in my opinion) home (and family) tend to bring out more conservative tendencies. Something that is owned by everyone is owned by no one. Even small condominium associations can quickly degenerate into very unpleasant political cesspools....which are by necessity literally in one's own back yard.
Selling socialism to a bunch of twenty-somethings with no ''skin in the game'' is one thing; it is a lot harder to garner support for domiciliary communalism amongst middle-aged families who have worked to create equity in their home.

You know what is the beautiful thing about ICO’s. It’s that anyone can do it. Even you. If anyone is passionate about anything and has knolage about it, resources... I would at least give it a try. Look at the steemit comunity. I’ve already seen so many new ICO’s projects. It’s a great idea to get cryptocurency involved in property or housing.

Hey Louis,
We've already considered some of these ideas. We've thought about community-oriented housing and have a plan to utilize the crowdfunding mechanisms you discussed to finance social projects like this!
We're just launching this weekend.

It’s very interesting idea having cryptocurency helping to afford housing, or as you mentioned cryptocurency supporting affordable housing or some kind of combination. That reminds me when this couple sold their house for 33 bitcoins at the time when bitcoin was at 20k. They must not feel lucky much at this time. I definately believe this will happen once bitcoin or even ETH stabilize. This may take some time though.

I really like your idea Louis, at this moment it seems a bit idealistic but we'll see with time if it can become reality

Sounds like a very cool idea where I guess the governance could be defined in a smart contract. Such an idea could bring fractional ownership to the housing market and really help people to get a foot on that elusive housing ladder. Personally I would like to see crypto disrupt the charity sector and thereby permit real peer to peer donations both in this country and abroad.

I have always been attracted to precious metal-backed cryptocurrencies - prior to the event of crypto, I was heavily involved in the metal markets. If I were to launch an ICO, I would want to combine gold backing with the privacy and fungibility aspects of a privacy crypto, such as Monero.

You are right, the government is not interested in building social/affordable flats or initiate community projects (like https://www.auroville.org/ ) , so an ICO is a great idea. Last year I thought about building more tinyhouses, but in the end they will need a lot of space, too.
After I watched a video about the UD-depleted munition I thought about to register every new weapon in the blockchain (like WABI did it with the food) to prevent war of aggression or to punish the arms manufacturer.
And by the way congratulations to your dog :)

Then ICOs are for you. The potential of a new ICO can be huge. If the company behind it is a professional one that is dedicated to its mission, you can build remarkable things by participating in the ICO.
