I think its just a matter of time till something big happens that will get more users to move to both steemit and BTS. For example if medium where to shutdown then I can imagine a great deal of users from medium will move to steemit, almost how we saw many vine users move to youtube after vine closed down. If something big were to happen to a large number of conventional crypto exchanges then people would start looking at decentralized options like bitshares and move onto that. Mass adoption of bitshares would increase the marketcap of BTS in my opinion and thus could bring up the value significantly. Perhaps not this year, but at some point I would like to see BTS go to 0.50 or even $1.

All of them look quite modest especially for ETH; it may have passed that mark by the end of Jan.
If Cardano maintains the hype, it will be up there neck and neck with EOS by the end of year.

If your verge prediction is true, I would have a quarter million dollars! However, if you base the current volume with the current price and use the same ratio to increase the value to just over $10, the volume would need to be roughly $287 billion, which happens to be currently greater than that of bitcoin's. We will have to see.

Your prediction were really close, and I would have said Etherium and Lite-coin being higher. didn't think Bitcoin would have hit 5000.00 let alone 20,000!!!
But now that its getting so much attention, and so many alt coins, I cant keep up!!!
lots of money being made but the real predictions I guess would be, what happens to cyrpto currency in the year 2018?
Will it grow to completely Maddening new highs or will it crash?
Will Bitcoin be dethroned as the top coin?
Got to love the ride, and I'm going to keep my eye on Bitcoin, Etherium, Dash and litecoin as well as Dash and EOS, one that grew to nice highs was auger, yet I haven't heard nothing.

2017 was my first year in the crypto world so all of theses "run ups" were a shock to me. What is my predictions? I will do a post soon but here is little tease. Despite not being a long term play I do think we get another bull run out of Bitcoin Core. Litecoin? My gut is telling me there is something big in the air for Charlie and the $LTC team, an easy double in Litecoin by mid 2018. Ethereum? We are getting a run up right now in $ETH, I think someone has some inside news that Casper is about to be released. When it does Vitali and his team will make a huge dent in King Bitcoin's market dominance. And rightfully so, anybody that has paid the fees to move Bitcoin around lately knows the future is not with $BTC. My choice for newcomer of the year, Cardano. My choice for dud of the year, NEO.
