I would also probably go down with the ship as well as at least the bitcoin will still be mine and uncontrollable from anybody else! I think plenty will happen before that happens though so I could not fathom that really happenings from a fundamental perspective.

I'm still excited to see how Bitcoin acts during a recession for the first time.
There are so many eyes on bitcoin... I seriously can't imagine the price going back down to $1000. Maybe if the USA banned it, it would crash hard and fast to a crazy low, but I just don't see that happening with so much corporate interest in the space.
When you have corporations like Goldman-Sachs, Amazon, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, etc, in your corner it's hard to imagine the government cracking down on you too hard. Bitcoin and Ethereum have already been ruled "not securities". It's only a matter of time before they are legal tender.

It's depressing to think that it could go that low, but then again if I just save up until then and stop dumping my money as soon as I get it I should be sitting pretty.

Unfortunately I think the bottom could be circa $1K and allowing for a bit of hysteresis may even go below that. Tyler Jenks has decades of experience as a fund manager and IHMO is well worth listening to. But as always with financial decisions best to DYOR .
