You should be able to save any "desktop wallet" on a USB stick and then that usb would store the wallet and keys. However if you do this it does NOT offer you the same protections as a Nano or a Trezor. If you are investing enough money to worry about cold storage, i'd recommend that you just fork over the cash on a Trezor or a Nano.
