If you think I agree that who earns more money should pay more for that money, then I would say that is usually how trade works.

If someone pays more in time and effort put into their work, then they should earn more money for that time and effort.

Do you agree?

There are exceptions (although they’re really cheats) to this rule of free market trade.

Government tends to make exceptions to the rules that benefit a few (usually themselves, their cronies, and cohorts in their plunder from the rest of society). Gov’t makes this plunder legitimate through legislation. Many of the rest of society seem to ignore their theft and try to vote things right. Many times we vote for taxation on some of the rich who play this plundering game rather than outlaw the system of plunder altogether.

Taxation is not a fix for society being cheated out of their honestly earned money. It is further theft that makes it even easier to cheat those of us without connections to those who create legislation. It's all part of the win-lose game gov’t plays.

Fortunately the free market is a win-win game where everyone has the opportunity to win. Yes, people still lose when they do a poor job of predicting how consumers will act in the future, but the opportunity is very real.

The market also doesn't create a situation where everyone will have the same amount of wealth, but it rewards actors for their honest efforts and time taken to accurately satisfy the desires of others. That's quite a statement, but it is true. And it is one of the main reasons why there is so much wealth in much of the developed world today.
