Unlike Companies Offering Shares, that is Initial public offerings, The ICO's are getting traction. People now seem more interested in ICO's then ever before. Btcoin popularity has brought this upon.
The most surprising fact is that the newer offerings are bagging in more than 10 Million in ICO's in less than 30Min.

Yes, the money raised show us how valuable ICO's have gotten from back in 2016,
They simply offer Tokens, via Btc, or Eth

Lets take a look at some of the top ICO's of 2016.

1)GOLEM GNT: this extremely successful ICO raised $8.6 Million in just couple of hours.
2)VDice : Raised about $1.6 Million.
3)The WIngs: This token raised $2 Million.

NOW WELCOME TO 2017
In 2017, Digital token, ICO's, Crowdfunding is more popular. The tokens sell in less than 30 minutes.
The only problem is the Minimum value of investment ranges from $100k to $1Milliion.
The companies issue the tokens to the initial investors at about 20% discount, assuring that they make profit if they wish to sell the tokens after the crowdfunding ends. Its a Win-WIn situation.

Can anyone start their own ICO? I saw that twitter was going to try to have one so why not just everyone.

Anyone can.. anyone with proper business strategy, can attract investors for ICO's.. you can too. If you have a plan.

No plan, but if it is like the internet bubble where everything is going up, then everyone can be rich.

Is it just me or this looked exactly like the dot com bubble.

Solid article. Good to see I'm not the only one who thinks like this. What if you give somebody a lot of money, they are less likely to work hard, smart and fight for their secure future. Starting a business is simply not easy. Companies have fight and go through the darkest times to get there. Starting of with a big bunch of money that most of this icos don't have simply doesn't help. Besides coinmarketcap.com there is: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm really enthusiastic about this site, they let you analyze every single coin out there.
