EOS ICO Passes $123m / IOTA Loses 13% / Why Are There 2 DubaiCoins? (Market Roundup 07 Jul 2017)steemCreated with Sketch.

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

A mild red day today in the crypto markets with 85% of the coins in the top 20 showing losses. IOTA is the biggest loser along with EOS while ByteCoin gains the most.

I also question why DubaiCoin appears twice with two different symbols?

Hi Chris! I didn't saw your post for some time, but I am happy to be here again. I noticed that you finally showing your face in your videos! In my opinion this is now much better!

There is much more personality in your videos now! :)

PS. I just noticed that you have some SBD in conversion. Are you aware, that because of price of SBD and how witnesses trying to counterbalance system by providing price feed discount, such conversion right now is a bad idea. it is much better to use internal market or bittrex for changing SBD to STEEM

You can read more about it on @abit's post: https://steemit.com/sbd/@clayop/sbd-overvalued-facts-and-advices-for-changing-crisis-to-opportunity

How can you speak of closing prices when cryptocurrencies are traded worldwide around the clock nonstop?

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Many traders trade day by day as a job. I think Chris just looks at the price like a trader, daily in his own schedule. If he din't look daily you are right, you can't speak of a closing price, and you can't compare them.

You mentioned users should avoid buying/selling bitcoin during the date range of July 24-Aug 7, which I tend to agree with but with that being said if you were planning to buy around that time range I would recommend doing it before July 24th and then holding it until after Aug 7 (instead of waiting till Aug 7th to buy). The reason is I think all this Aug 1st stuff is going to go WAY smoother then most people expect, and with this I expect a small drop in price leading up to this date (fear of the unknown), but then a huge correction and beyond in the days following that date (once it all goes way smoother then expected). Just my 2 cents...

These ICOs are getting out of hand, its absolutely amazing how much money there is to be made in cryptos

Very helpful video.. Thanks for sharing.. Keep it up sir..
