Increased block size prevents average Joe from being able to confirm transactions on their home computer. If anything, Bitcoin Cash is a way of centralisation and continuous profitability from mining every single transaction. Segwit is off chain and commits to the chain every n transactions, saving the user lots of fees, but having the consequential knock on the mining profitability. This has nothing to do with improving Bitcoin and more to do with greed.

I expect the price of bitcoin to fall quite a bit leading up to 1st August I have sold all my BTC and will buy back in maybe around the 2nd or 3rd with the value that bitcoin cash will end up being I feel I will profit more this way...

But I think that waiting and selling them after fork is your best option. Or not selling them. If you look on bitcoincash.org you may see that BCC has better features than SegWit. This is a case where the talking heads reached consensus and told everyone what to think BUT the real doers and independent thinkers have the power to choose a different path... the talking heads will follow soon once they wake up to the new reality: a better Bitcoin is here. :) Peace.
