What is Litecoin?

Litecoin (LTC) is a peer-to-peer crypto currency, which differs only slightly from Bitcoin. LTC is based on a worldwide, fully decentralized open source payment network without central authorities. Compared to Bitcoin, LTC offers faster transanction times and improved memory efficiency.
