This is my first post in steemit.
I have been looking to blog about Cacao Farming for a long time. I've been studying it for years and I plan to go pure organic . That may sound like I'm some sort of Tree-hugging Hippie, but if blockchain technology is revolutionizing currency, organic farming is revolutionizing farming!
I know that's a strong claim, and it's fair to be critical about that. And, in all honesty, we don't know how the future will be. But scientists are learning more about the soil biology everyday, and we are starting to learn HOW TO WORK WITH NATURE instead of MAKING NATURE OUR SLAVE. Like the governments controlling citizens with fiat, the uprising is inevitable.
A year from now (2018) I will be harvesting cacao and I've got my accounting books ready. I will be able to learn if my organic farming practice will be able to compete with inorganic farming practices in terms of economic viability.
