Bitcoin
(Bitstamp:BTCUSD 1h)
Bitcoin continues to hold just below resistance on low volume and decreasing volatility. This is a good sign of a bullish consolidation, and a new bullish leg is likely relatively soon.
Its still best to keep positions in check and only build up nearer support levels to reduce downside risk, but this is looking a lot more bullish given the tests of $8239.
Ethereum
(Bitstamp:ETHBTC 2h)
After bouncing from the ascending support, ETHBTC made a good break of the 0.06466 resistance to make new highs. However, the lack of volume is concerning as we push higher, indicating a lack of interest in this bullish trend. This gives a significant risk of a sharp retracement once we find a strong resistance, so starting to take profit is a good idea if you're not able to actively manage the position.
Bitcoin Cash
(Poloniex:BCHBTC 2h)
BCHBTC made a brief pullback around the 0.1084 support/ resistance before continuing its climb. While volume remains high, we're starting to see some bearish divergence on this leg of the pump, signalling weakness to the trend. While this isn't necessarily an indicator of the local top, it certainly isn't a strong sign for the bulls, and we'll be looking for a good consolidation after this leg has completed.
Litecoin
(Poloniex:LTCBTC 1h)
Litecoin appears to be forming an ascending wedge which, combined with the bearish divergence on both the RSI and MACD, is a very bearish sign. Volume is also dropping off as we test higher resistance levels. A pullback to support is definitely in need before I'd be comfortable taking any positions. Its best to wait from the sidelines to see where it settles.
Monero
(Poloniex:XMRBTC 1h)
After retesting both the 0.02890 resistance and 0.02760 support, Monero is hopefully settling into a consolidation zone after its huge pump yesterday. Volume has dropped off significantly, making this a good candidate for a bullish consolidation, its just a matter of waiting to see if we hold these levels over the next day or two.
