  Timur Khromaev, head of the Financial Stability Council of Ukraine, took to social media to voice support for crypto regulations. In order to keep the environment safe, the Council intends to begin regulating tokens and ICOs, but has a hands-off approach to crypto mining.

• Samsung company-owned stores have started accepting crypto payments
  Shoppers in the Baltic region will now be able to pay for goods at Samsung stores with crypto. Utilizing CoPay, Samsung is in talks to start accepting crypto payments in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas

• G20 releases official statement on cryptocurrency
  The G20, in their mid-July meeting, declared their official position on crypto and related assets. While they outlined the risks associated with the technology, they do not appear to be opposed to its existence.

  In a move that helps legitimize crypto, Facebook has started allowing Coinbase to advertise on its platform. This move is a reversal of the blanket ban against all crypto advertising, instituted in early 2018.

• EOSNOVA releases the first EOS wallet for iOS
  EOSNOVA has released the first EOS wallet for Apple's iOS mobile operating system. The multi-platform wallet app securely stores EOS tokens and offers support for all EOS airdrops and future EOS-based tokens.

  Jon Montroll has pled guilty to a combination of securities fraud and obstruction of justice in his dealings with the SEC. Geoffrey Berman, US Attorney General for the Southern District of New York, received the plea on both counts this past Monday.

• MyEtherWallet is going mobile
  MyEtherWallet is scheduled to launch the beta version of their free and open-source smartphone app in a matter of days and plans to roll out the full version by September.

  Through a partnership with Google Cloud, Digital Asset is making its distributed ledger technology available to all developers. Digital Asset CEO Blythe Mathers hopes the move brings tools to more coders.

• Winklevoss twins snubbed by the SEC in effort to create Bitcoin ETF
  The Winklevoss twins and the rest of the world will have to wait a bit longer for a crypto-based ETF. The SEC rejected the twins' application for a "Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust."

  Venture for America founder Andrew Yang is running for president and has announced via Twitter that his campaign can now accept crypto, in addition to soliciting $1 donations via Venmo.

• Bitmain opens $1 billion pre-IPO funding round, $15 billion valuation on the horizon
  Bitmain is said to be close to securing an additional $1 billion in capital, stretching their valuation to $15 billion in advance of an expected IPO later this year.

  Despite news circulating that Bitcoin ETFs were rejected by the SEC, the proposed VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust ETF seems more likely to be approved than the rejected Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust ETF application.

• SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce dissents from SEC decision against Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF
  SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce took to Twitter to announce a formal dissent against the Commissions order disapproving the rule change that would've allowed the Winklevoss twins to create the first Bitcoin ETF.
