LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!! ICOs COULD BE PONZIS

Quite interesting that blockachain technology and distributed ledgers/decentralized smart contacts are revolutionalizing financial institutions and payment systems, making millionaires, correcting imbalances in our society and of our time! It is quite commendable; all thanks to the big pal "Nakamoto" and the bitcoin legacy, we have the opportunity to correct mistakes made by a few greedy people who instituted centalized systems which made the rich much richer and the poor more poorer. This technology has made ease of, the way things are done, but care must be taken not to abuse it! I like what ethereum is and what it stands for, I also know that "Open source" provides an opportunity for better ideas and better solutions, but the ease with which anyone can "create a coin" these days is leaving me with so many questions with what ethereum is actually bringing to the table! Two of which I have reasoned out, 1. providing opportunity for better solutions, 2. creating criminals; The first has proven to be useful as I have come across many useful versions of apps utilizing the ethereum blockchain to create solutions that leave so much to be desired! The second thing the ethereum blockchain has done is made criminals of millionaires, as never a day passes without 5 to 8 ICOs being floated. but then its one of those things that happen when the people are excited. "its a free world" afterall. I like the fact that everyone is being involved in the revolution. what therefore is the essence of this piece? It is to make you understand that with new technologies come excitement, with excitement comes the desire to be involved, with the desire to be involved comes wrong decisions, with wrong decisions, comes wrong investment decisions. Here is a quick advice, before you go buzzing to the drops of honey from the combs of proliferating ICOs, do your homework, read bits and pieces, get the ideas behind a particular ICO right before investing else you could be making millionaires of criminals, the world is a free place but not for cheaters and thieves.
