All the Inflationary pressure goes to Crypto, nothing to Precious Metals

In my eyes the short answer is NO. This time not.
Many people are convinced that all of the inflation created by centra banks will push neglected metals through the roof.

The cryptomarkets as a whole are better than hard metals in almost every way:

• fungible at first glance, Precious Metals have to be analyzed with ultra-sound in order to make sure that they are not fake and of 100% purity... no tungston and so on... If you receive any cryptocurrency you know a 100% for sure that it is not fake after it has been confirmed by the network.
• liquidity, you have massive volumes traded all around the world in almost any cryptocurrency. In some currencies you can even trade billions in value, in others only a few thousand USD, but even this is for the average Joe enough.
• transportability. With Gold and Silver there is a huge risk if you are leaving your house. Every idiot can rob you and know that you have something of value.
• transferability worldwide. In seconds you can do payments worldwide to anyone even if he has no Internet Access.
• split-ability: you can pay even small items like a newspaper with any other crypto which is not Bitcoin.

The only disadvantage of Crypto vs Precious Metals is:

Technology shifts from one Currency to another as technology moves on. But this shift as of now is gradual. Even a so disfunctional currency like BTC still has not been dethroned. Even though you have to pay 20-40 USD per transaction and it takes hours or days to transfer.
So I think this risk is quite limited.

The market has already decided the winner

if you see the evolution in the last 9 Years, you can clearly see that the market agrees with that vision. And that he has already decided to push Cryptos... seeing the arguments above I think it is understandable.

The 5000 year comparison

I always hear that Gold and Silver have lasted 5000 years as money... but is this really so important? I think not. People have been using ships and carriages for thousands of years. I guess somebody would say that Airplanes are a fad and that they have only existed for 90 years. So invest in carriages, they are safer ad can not fall from the sky like airplanes can.
Would this decision be wise?

E-Mails only have existed for 30 years, paper written letters for 3000 years. Should we ignore E-Mails and bet on paper letters? I think everybody would say of course not.

The Winner will be Crypto, even in purchasing power, as Gold and Silver will be replaced in a good part , because of strong competition.
