The creation of cryptocurrencies are on the rise this year, and according to this 19-year-old, it’s your fault if you’re not a Bitcoin millionaire within the next 10 years.
Now, billionaire investor and Uber co-founder Garrett Camp is joining in on the trend, as he just announced his latest project dubbed “Eco,” to rival the more popular digital currency Bitcoin, reports, BusinessCloud.Publishing the proposal online, Camp hopes the cryptocurrency will improve on Bitcoin’s functionality and energy consumption, and will be used globally in day-to-day transactions.
In addition, Camp shared that one trillion Eco tokens will be issued, with fifty percent to be given to the first billion people who sign up, while twenty percent will go to universities, and ten percent will be allocated to advisors, Camp’s partners and to an “Eco Foundation” which will oversee the digital currency.
