New to the world of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, staking, mining and the world of tech associated with decentralized protocols.
At the end of 2019 I was looking for pathways to eventually generate passive income, what the masses might call a "side hustle" but the one main guiding principle:
It had to be something I liked (there's nothing more pointless than forcing yourself to do something you dislike for a perceived reward when you can spend that time in something you love unconcerned with reward - Live today, let tomorrow take care of itself... good life advice in general)
Introducing myself to Coding, Marketing, SEO, stock options, eCommerce etc. and nothing really resonated until finally I discovered Cryptocurrency.
I had not even invested a substantial amount in stocks or bonds until I decided to learn about this "phantom phenomenon" that has turned out to be a revelation.
After doing my due diligence around the new year I realized I have been neglecting one of the greatest revolutions in tech in history and so on the 4th of January 2020 I bought my first handful of Satoshi. One giant step toward financial independence.
Zero dollars in profit to one hundred dollars and rolling.
Any resistance to the cryptocurrency movement at this point is just noise for me I couldn't care less about volatility... in order to do well in anything - you have to have SKIN IN THE GAME.
My handful of Satoshis grew immediately & I started digging deeper - I earned 6 different currencies on Coinbase Earn and learned even more about crypto through the process - before long my handful became an armful - I literally used an entire pay check to buy more cryptocurrency. It is almost like I no longer see any value in traditional currencies. Obviously there is... but the more I learn about a decentralized currency the more I am I convinced that it will soon transcend the existing economic paradigm.
One thing leads to another - I am now using a protected browser with Brave and refining my online privacy. I started moving my blog over to Publish0x which led me to Steem, I am testing apps such as Twetch and now I am looking to study and start mining, staking and who knows from there.
It feels like I am a kid who just found out there was an amusement park with rides and games and if you play your cards right you just might win a teddy, or more cards or you just might lose everything you had... but if that stopped you from playing then you'd miss out on all the fun.
Moral of the story is... Cryptocurrency has just begun... the opportunities are limitless... I like those odds.
Game on.
