#H1 Miller's Reviews Presents the Cryptocurrency: Unikoin Gold (UKG)

Today's review will be on a coin must everybody has heard of because it's high profile backers like Mark Cuban and the Ethereum co-founder Anthony Diiorio. As of this writing, Unikoin Gold is showing on CoinMarketCap at $0.72 USD, with a total supply of 1,000,000,000 and a circulating supply of 134,356,304.

Unikoin Gold had their ICO a few months ago back in September 2017. One of the biggest reason I like this coin was that they have a working product already in a space that's still growing. The coin is basically a coin in lieu of fiat money to bet on competitive eSports in a deregulated manner. For those unfamiliar with eSports, this is a growing market with a lot of potential for Unikoin. eSports are projected to continue to grow, and people are betting big that Unikoin will be the primary gambling medium for this emerging community.

  • Concept
Unikoin is attempting to corner the market for eSports wagering. Instead of people gambling across country lines, they want gambling to be decentralized, using Ethereum blockchain technology. They started out back in 2014 as a watch and bet on eSports originally using fiat betting, and now are offering an altcoin method. In addition to just gambling, they also expect their coins to be used to purchase in-game items and accessing different membership levels on their site.

  • Team
Since Unikrn is already an established company, you'd have to evaluate them a little differently. The Co-founders has proven they could launch products, with both starting companies which were bought out by larger companies (Hewlett-Packard for Rahul Sood, and Unikrn itself for Karl Flores). As for the rest of the team, they have Daniel Rudolph, Kingsley Edwards, and Andrew Doneley who each have experience in creating gaming based companies and the eSports community. Also as expected for a gambling company they have a robust legal and compliance team, as well an advisor team consisting of CoinCircle leadership and Ehereum Co-founder Anthony Di Iorio. For those unfamiliar with CoinCircle, CoinCirlce is a company which helps companies create and sell their own altcoins and declare ICOs using their platform. It's a pretty neat company, and I might do a review on them in the near future. You can find out more about the Unikrn team here.

  • Whitepaper
The Whitepaper can be found here. This is probably one of the shortest whitepaper's I've seen so far, as it is only 11 pages long. However, it could be described as short and sweet. Maybe they didn't feel they needed to make some massive paper since it's basically only a change to their already existing company, but essentially the entire whitepaper is just an explanation of the Unikoin Gold coins, how they envision they will be used. The key portion of the whitepaper to pay the most attention to is their Utility of Platform Tokens by Jurisdiction, which breaks down how they feel their coins can be used in full-service jurisdictions vs limited jurisdictions:

  • Roadmap/Product
Thier Roadmap is outlined in their whitepaper, which ended already, since their product is already up and running at https://unikrn.com/. Currently the product supports betting on the following games:

Upon going to their site, you can look up matches for that day, and then bet on those matches using a very intuitive and simple user interface. Below is an example I just did to demonstrate how easy it is to use.
First, you can see the different matches for the day that you can bet on.

After picking the match that you're interested in you then select your bet amount and then hit conform at the bottom.

Once your bet is locked in, you can then receive a betting slip, and then can watch the event live, to see if your bet paid off.

  • Final Thoughts
With an easy to use interface on an already established product, in a growing market this coin is poised for greatness. Combine this with the fact that it is supported by heavy hitters, with a coin that is under $1 a piece, I think this coin has a lot of promise. eSports also has other revenue sources through advertisements and sponsorships, which can help prop up the value. I personally think that the coin is currently undervalued. This might be due to the fact that this is it's early months, but I do expect it to continue to grow in popularity as the eSports community does.

Too Long Didn't Read (TLDR) version: This is an undervalued coin with a lot of potential in 2018 in a growing market. Expect it to grow as eSports does. This has some huge backers and an experienced team, and the user interface of the product itself is super easy to use. I recommend this coin.

#H2 Note, the normal disclaimer provides, I'm not an expert or financial advisor on any of this, etc.
