super glad to be a part of this community.
A little about why I am here: While I appreciate the intention of many social network sites to protect its users, I have recently seen these companies overstep their bounds to such a degree that I have decided to find alternatives.
A little bit about me: I am a front end developer and have been obsessing over cryptocurrencies for the last few months. The last time that this happened to me, I was so consumed that I changed jobs. The same seems to be happening for me again and I have been forced (by my brain) to do the same now that I have gained a basal understanding of the field and have started receiving offers in companies that are a part of it.
I hope to encounter some high quality individuals and read some high quality posts on steemit.
