r/CryptoCurrency and other crypto-trading sub-reddits generally don't appreciate criticism. But still there are some amazing people interacting and engaging with the community. While steemit is still growing as a platform but I find user here avoiding confrontation like reddit or even twitter.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Absolutely, and that was the general point I was getting to. Steemit is a much friendlier community than reddit.
