One proclivity of human nature is envy. It burns us sometimes to see others make it while we are still in the process of striving to make it. This of course is very bad for our overall wellbeing. Instead of seething with envy about the success of others, we should be inspired by their success! If they can do it, there is hope that we can too.
Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrencies, and given its current price and market cap it is easy for some of us who joined the cryptocurrency bandwagon late to wish it would collapse in order for the altcoins we have invested to grow. This line of thinking may be irrational as bitcoin's failure just might send the negative signal to prospect investors that cryptocurrencies on the whole are a bad investment.
We all ,regardless of which altcoins we have invested in, should wish bitcoin well, because it is paving the way for other cryptos to be accepted into mainstream markets. As children we wanted our parents to be successful because not only would we share in that success, but we would also have hopes of success. Bitcoin is the mother here and all other crytos are her children, so to speak. We all stand to lose if Bitcoin loses, but if it succeeds we'll be rich! Well, maybe not rich but better off.
