On a global scale, native currencies in other countries (Venezuela, Turkey, etc.) are dying one by one. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but at some point one has to acknowledge that a global currency could have inherent benefits, helping thousands of people. I don't see the US Dollar going anywhere anytime soon (though I'm certain its value will fluctuate), but there's not reason why Bitcoin and Fiat cannot co-exist.
