I can't buy one bitcoin with its recent price, so can I buy fractions of bitcoin or share a bitcoin with someone ?

    Yup! You can buy any amount you want down to 0.00000001 bitcoin. Currently 1 mBTC (0.001 BTC) is going for around $10, so if you only want to invest a little you can buy a few of those.
