As anyone who follows the news knows, this trend is not exclusive to the crypto world. One journalist declared “2017 Was The Year of Hacks.” before predicting 2018 would get worse.
An Expansion of Cyberinsurance
Today, AIG has already said they’ve underwritten a few policies as part of an “exploratory phase” of what could be a much larger roll out. XL Caitlin and Chubb are also already selling crypto insurance.
