I listened to a podcast a couple months ago and was intrigued about all the talk about cryptocurrency, and decided to learn how it works and put some money into the markets to trade and see if I can figure out what it is all about.
I was going to start mining, but was encouraged to take that money and jump right in instead.
So that's what I did, I signed up for a few exchanges, one of them being poloniex, and was learning and earning by following https://steemit.com/@quickfingersluc
Then I tried to withdraw some, just to make sure I could, and it worked great at every exchange BUT Poloniex. I tried to transfer a couple hundred USDT and it got stuck, and stayed stuck for over 9 days (as of this writing its been 9 days).
So my advice is to avoid them especially if you are getting started and have a small account. Go somewhere that you can access your funds when needed.
