If you are new to the Cryptocurrency world you will need to learn a whole new language. I recently started investing in Cryptocurrency late December 2017. Since then i have had to do my research and learn all the new terms and really a new language to understand how to properly invest.
So here are a few common word or phrases that are used in the croptocurrency world.
FUD- Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt
FOMO- Fear of missing out
ICO- Initial coin offering-Mainly a projects fundraising mechanism to sell their crypto coin
Whale- A wealthy group of investors who pump up a coin.
Alternate coin(Altcoin)- All coins that are not Bitcoin
Hodl- A means of holding a coin for a period of time.
Pump and Dump- When a coin is hyped up and is increases the coin and then sells quickly.
