Never forget what your money is worth to you. A good lesson for beginners. 🚀

Let's be real, the profits you can make in crypto world are insane. I want to share my story, I'm not screwed or anything like that.. I lost some 'play money', further in the post you'll understand why I used the words play money.

I'm about 1,5 years in crypto now, made some good profits and am still in profit. You just keep hodling, they say. I started to take the crypto game more seriously and started learning about TA and other trading fundamentals. Anyway.. During the bull run this December I saw my portfolio going to the moon..

I've had a gem (not calling the name because I don't want to make this look like a shill post, you can PM me if you want to know) that I put in like $600, few days later it already went mooning. Since this was not a big percentage of my portfolio, I didn't care that much, I just hodled. It was like a x3 after one week, I didn't take profits. On the other hand the rest of my portfolio did very well too, I woke up green almost every day. Just a lot of us, you were just happy and thought it would never go down anymore and kept hodling it all.

A few weeks later, my so called gem, was worth $32k, that's 53x my investment. Now I must say that my income is just above average, so this is a lot of money for me. The only thing I thought was I need to hodl this because I would not miss out on potential more profits if I would sell to take some profit.

After the beginning of January, we had a crash. I saw my 30k get worth less day by day, every time it went green a bit I was getting some hope.. At the time of writing it is worth around 2k, if I would sell at the 30k, I would've made 28k in pure profits and have bought back my gem by now for around 2k, if I would put it in USD. And that is, for most of us.. A load of money. I could've done a lot of (fun things) with that money.

Around March I was realizing this, and now sharing my story on for others to learn from. This is not a sad shit post, I don't regret my choices back then. You learn from mistakes you made, the bigger the mistake, to more you learn from it.

My message here is.. It's all crypto money, it isn't worth anything until it's in fiat. How big your profits may be, always keep in mind what the money is really worth to you.

TL;DR: How long do I have to work to earn the money you can take some profit off now.
