200$ million raised last year in ICO's, and this year more than 1$ billion raised and still counting, ICOs became the prefered crowdfunding technique for blockchain technology start ups. The massive gains that Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and other coins have witnissed this year left the crowds desperatly looking for the next big coin. This has allowed some to exploit ICO's and people's greed to promote coins that promise the same growth as the big players in the crypto world. But Plexcoin has took this scam to another level, the team, which remains unknown, promises 1300% ROI in 29 days. Not only that, the whitepaper is not available until the 4th of Aug, 3 days before the pre-sale begins, and the product is nothing but a bitcoin copycat. They claim to be working on a Plexbank, PlexCard and PlexWallet, which will enable users to withdraw their Plexcoins in fiat currency easily from ATM machines, exchange their Plexcoin for other cryptos and invest their coins in the bank with a fixed ROI and with no exposure to the market's volatility. But in my opinion this is an obvious scam, with no value, no team, no whitepaper and no hardcap. At the moment there are more than 80 thousand people on the Plexcoin waiting list, waiting to invest in this dodgy project. I have heard of people who asked bold questions to the Plexcoin team on their facebook page just to get their questions deleted and their accounts blocked from commenting. I could be wrong, but the evidence does not suggest otherwise. Please do visit their website and check it out, this remains an open discussion and I would love to hear what you think in the comments section.

Hey, omarkhodeir! :)
I looked for more reviews on your page, but couldn't find any. Saw the post about deleting Facebook though. If you plan on continuing the series, onG.social may be relevant as they are a good alternative to mainstream social media and have an ICO in about two weeks. Would be glad to read that, because I'm planning on investing in it myself. Thanks! :)

Yea I am also currently trying to get to the bottom of this. Great concept, but not much info other than a snazzy website. Theres another article on steemit that claims its owned by Visa, if that is the case, then I believe the hoopla. If not, then I am skeptical. Seems to be a lose-lose in either situation because you're either supporting some potential scammers, or you are definitely supporting the scammers VISA.
