NEO is the platform where you can build your DApps and smart contracts using C#, Java and other languages. This is the fundamental difference between Ethereum and NEO. Also the core difference with Eth is NEO's scalability. It can process as much as 1000 transactions per second!

tokens neo is using

NEO has two tokens in place. NEO and NeoGAS.

NEO

There are 100 million neos. They are responsible for managing the network. They cannot be subdivided and the mininun amount of NEO is 1. Pre-mined.

NEOGas

100 million gases. Gas was not pre-mined and would all be released in 22 years. They are generated every block, and block is generated every 15-20 seconds.

consensus mechanism

dBFT-delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerant. This lets NEO to carry on 1000 transactions per second. This is huge. I mean, it is still not Visa, but in comparison with Bitcoin and Eth, it's just the rocket.

anti-quantum computers

Also NEO can resist quantum computers by using Shortest vector problem and closest vector problem.

languages support

As the compiler focus on MSIL (Microsoft intermediate language) during compilation, so theoretically, any

number of dapps created

Record of all NEO apps here-https://neotracker.io/browse/asset/1. We already have near 30 dapps created with NEO. And in 2018, if Ethereum network will be still laggy, what the developers will do? They'll switch to working with NEO of course. So, we are here to see the growth and expansion of NeO tokens in 2018.

digital assets

NEO has two forms of digital assets: global assets and contract assets.

summary

NEO is a very solid coin, it has already some dapps built upon it, and with it's scalability we can see a lot more in the future.

@originalworks. The next thing would be EOS.

Eos looks promising. It has coreectes recently but not so heavily..

You also believe in Dan Larimer's efforts?

Offcourse. He is building scalable technologies which solves problems by decentralization. Scalability, security, fast and secure exchange of values these things are very important for solving the problems. I thinks he has been doin great with that.

Yeah, his influence is palpable here. I'll try to buy EOS then, see how it'll play out..

Already started rising from lows.
