Pretty impressive deal with American Express. I think you are right that they are well tied to the establishment. The only questions I have is that I've read that for ripple to be useful, the price has to remain constant and low so adoption by corporations will be inhibited if it increases the price. Is there some mechanism that is diluting ripple shares to prevent a rise to the currency?

Bitcoin will not fail. Ripple will be very successful because the technology is a game changer. It will be the most influential blockchain project next to Bitcoin. The coin as an investment is a long shot and everyone new to crypto starts with buying ripple due to the price. The market cap for even a $2.00 for ripple would be crazy.
