I was thinking of buying some Steem - But from what I gather you need Bitcoin to do it - Supposedly I can sign into one of those exchanges and then link a bank account.
Is there a simpler way? - Is there some way to use a credit card or PayPal to directly buy cryptocurrency?
If not, why not?
With all of the crypto hustlers out there looking to make money - Why doesn't someone set up an easy to use exchange
- Back it up so it is secure and then charge a reasonable rate to make direct purchases with credit or debit
or Paypal to buy cryptocurrency.
If there is a way to do it now please let me know.

Thanks - I checked out Payeer ewallet and they said not available in the US.
Still think there is a business model here for someone who is ambitious and is familiar in using and/or dealing in cryptocurrency

Thanks - I signed up for Coinbase - I'll test it tomorrow - Now if I want to buy Steem is it as simple as buying some bitcoin first - And then when it says 'buy steem' on my steem wallets page ....... what next?
