A cryptic Tweeted image is making it's rounds on the NEO reddit, which seems to indicate some 'big news' is coming out for NEO in three days. It is unclear what this news could be at this point.
The image that was shared on Twitter originally is in Chinese and intentionally cryptic to challenge the community.
Some communitymembers have done translations which amount to something such as:
"moving forward, never stopping
when you have read this,
you are one with neo,
let's change the world together
3 days to an announcement
3 lifetimes of blessing"
The translated version certainly does make it sound as if something big will be announced for NEO in 3 days from now. Three lifetimes of blessing??? Really? I'll be very curious to know how this pans out!
It could mean anything though, really. In the past few days there have been a lot of ICO announcements for NEO, I believe there are now more than 5 upcoming ICO's, so perhaps it has to do with one of these.
Another speculation is that the news has to do with Chinese regulations and that it may pan out positively for NEO. This especially would bring us all 'three lifetimes of blessing' financially, so it fits that bill.
There is also a big OnChain/NEO conference at about the same date, so it is likely that is where the official announcement will take place.
Failing that, it could also 'just' be a rumor of course. You never know in crypto.

And yes, NEO is just waiting to pop... today shows that plenty of people are getting ready for 'the' moment. Wether it's going to be in three days I am not sure.. but I am hodling on strong!

That wouldn't phase me at all as an investor to be honest.. But what I am hoping for is an announcement that NEO is going to be officially sanctioned by the Chinese government, or something like that. China FUD has been the main reason why Chinese crypto's are down, and NEO is the biggest Chinese crypto. If we can shake off the China FUD, and perhaps turn it into one of NEO's strengths (perhaps NEO gets exclusive rights? The Chinese are known to do this). That would make the price skyrocket a lot I believe.

This current mooning is somewhat concerning though, I feel like many people are going to be dumping after the news.. whatever the news is (unless it's really good, like China FUD being lifted).

Probably, yes. But maybe it really is big news, and if so then those selling the news will make small profits. I'm surprised by this cryptic announcement of NEO to be honest.. they have not been very communicative since the China FUD and they are not the types to randomly pump news

I am very curious to see what happens when people realize that China is going to be less dependent on the dollar in the next years..Federal Reserve is printing a lot of money with a very low interest, and China is staking gold from a long time to have a solid economy.On one side China and Russia go to gold and crypto,while on the other side US banks are keeping inflated the dollar to sustain the american economy.When people realize the stock market is overvalued, some of that 1.9 trillion will go to crypto, reducing the stocks market cap and creating the causing element of a financial crisis.When this happens people will begin to realize that holding a NEO is actually the best commodity you can have because with a fixed supply of coin you create a deflationary currency(GAS) to provide valuable services for people.It's gonna be a complete paradigm shift
